The Senior Engineer will support this partnership by leading the technical delivery of data within Pilot Worked Example programs through the OreAI analysis workflow.The Senior Engineer position will sit within the Department of Material Physics, Research School of Physics. The Senior Engineer will maintain close cross-disciplinary working relationships with other Senior staff in the OreAI program. The person will manage complex engineering assignments from concept through to implementation, entailing technical specifications, detailed planning and supervision of internal personnel and resources.The PersonWe are looking for a qualified PhD/MSc engineer with practical experience in delivery of advanced geomaterials/materials science or engineering characterization and analysis programs. Experience in working on CT-based geo-material science applications is highly desirable. The person should have experience in project management of scientific or research projects, entailing detailed planning and delivery of project proposals and other documents related to project management and delivery. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
