In this key role, you will provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including grievances, workplace investigations, performance management, and industrial relations issues. Your contributions will help drive a positive workplace culture and ensure the effective management of human resources across the organisation.This is a permanent, full-time position based in the heart of Toowoomba's Central Business District (CBD), offering an attractive salary package and an excellent work-life balance with a nine-day fortnight.Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex employee relations cases, including complaints, grievances, workplace investigations, and performance matters.Provide expert advice to managers and staff on a broad range of employee relations and human resources issues, including discipline, performance management, and organisational change.Mentor and coach other HR professionals to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.Maintain strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, and HR policies and procedures.Champion a positive workplace culture that promotes inclusion, diversity, and employee engagement.Facilitate organisational change and consultation processes.Provide consultancy services on industrial relations matters, including interpreting Certified Agreements, Awards, and relevant legislation.Mediate with unions on workplace and industrial relations issues.Conduct research on industrial relations issues and provide recommendations to management.Develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures to support effective employee relations.Contribute to significant projects and initiatives across the organisation.The TeamOur Employee Relations team is a collaborative and forward-thinking group dedicated to creating a supportive and dynamic workplace for our employees.
