About the Position As the Senior Employee Relations Consultant / Employee Relations Consultant , you will provide complex advice on relevant employment legislation, the Enterprise Bargaining process, case management and dispute resolution.
You will be responsible for the development and review of HR related policies and procedures and will provide strategic input to the interpretation of university policy, workplace legislation and industrial relations initiatives.
About You To be successful, you will require: Demonstratable experience in Enterprise Bargaining and complex case management Completion of or progress towards a postgraduate qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a relevant field and/or a combination of relevant experience, training and education.
Demonstrated experience providing advice and recommendations on complex employment related issues, including the ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures and legislative instruments to manage and/or resolve issues.
Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and the ability to interpret and advise on those requirements.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the University.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7/8.
The base salary will be in the range of $91,642 to $116,253 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $107,221 to $136,016 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
Level of appointment will be based on experience.
