Reporting to the Regional Planning Manager – North, you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic asset management and technical support services across Sunwater's Operations. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technical officers to implement and comply with Sunwater's asset management policies, strategies, plans, systems, and processes.
Other responsibilities will include:
Contributing electrical engineering expertise to our dam safety inspection program and reports Conducting and documenting the electrical asset inspections (motors, actuators, telemetry, LV and HV switchboards, control and protection systems) Developing full lifecycle asset management plans for electrical assets to maximise return on investment through the balance of risk, cost, performance, and social and environmental sustainability Providing electrical engineering support to identify risks and opportunities and enable the continual improvement of Sunwater's infrastructure performance Sunwater seeks an individual with the ability to develop and implement innovative and effective asset management strategies. You will hold tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Queensland, with knowledge and application of relevant legislative, statutory, and industry standards relating to design and maintenance of electrical infrastructure assets.
You will also bring:
Class 'C' driver's licence for manual vehicle Delivery of asset and facility inspection programs and reports Well-developed interpersonal skills including consultation, negotiation, and relationship building Ability to analyse complex electrical issues and provide fit-for-purpose solutions.
