We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life, as well as experience in a similar electrical engineering role previously.
You would require:
Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia (CPEng preferred)A minimum of 8 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects, delivering process plant projects, energy, water or mining sector projects ensuring quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedulesIn-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systemsApplied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067Instrumentation and controls experience (preferable)Experience across all project development phases including concept, FEED, and detail designPower system modelling and analysis experience (with software e.g.
SKM Powertools, ETAP, PowerCAD) to carry out load flow, short circuit, power quality and protection studiesAbility to proactively interact with Project Managers, discipline engineers and designers to develop project deliverablesDemonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgetingExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenThink you know Aurecon?
