Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: MelbourneSalary guide $140k - 160kOverviewMCR is looking for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to be a design lead on data centre projects. With a pipeline of work covering some of the largest greenfield data centre construction projects in Australia; as well as complex brownfield projects, this role will see you taking a high profile role within the industry in Melbourne.HighlightsLeading Electrical Design:You will take charge of electrical design for both brownfield and greenfield data centre projects. This involves creating and refining designs that align with clients' needs and project specifications.Client Engagement:Engaging directly with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements. You will present conceptual designs, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.Internal and External Collaboration:Co-ordinating across design disciplines including mechanical, hydraulics, fire, security, BMS, etc you'll be part of integrating the full data centre design.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Proven design experience of technically complex buildings with multiple layers of redundancyKnowledge and experience across UPS and standby generatorsExperience of electrical designs up to 22kVProfessional or Chartered Engineer status, or on the pathway to achieving it.Experience with data centre projects preferred but not essential.If you feel like you meet the above requirements and have interest in the role.
