Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design for renewable energy power generation projects and project manage grid-connection studies.
Overview: Lead the electrical concept and detailed design activities for large-scale wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and hybrid renewable energy projects in Australia.Develop technical specifications, principal's project requirements and other technical documents to support early-stage development activities of BESS projects, wind farms and solar farms.Project managing R1 and R2 grid-connection studies for NEM connected projects.Work as part of the overall owner's engineering team for brownfield renewable energy projects from design reviews to construction reviews to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, Australian standards and engineering best practises.Skills & Experience: Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems, power generation and renewable grid connections; post-graduate qualifications are highly regarded.Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV) or Chartered Professional Electrical Engineer (CPEng), National Engineering Register (NER).Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles related to transmission, distribution, generation, and control systems.Understanding of AEMO's grid connection process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
