City Venue Management is a facility management company operating Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast, as far West as Toowoomba and also in New South Wales. We currently operate 37 sites across Queensland and New South Wales, as we continue to grow and develop with each passing day. This role demands a proactive leader who can drive efficiency, enhance customer experience and foster a positive working environment. Our business operates seven days a week, and successful applicants will be required to work flexible hours, aligning with our operational needs.What you need to succeed:The right culture fit for our company and people is the most important attribute, along with the following skills:Communication: A commitment to open, honest and frequent communication.Business Management: Experience in managing budgets, understanding financial reporting and working with KPI's.People Management: Experience with recruitment, training, succession planning and performance management.Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions, consult with stakeholders and review outcomes effectively.Conflict Resolution: Proficient in delegating, empowering and engaging staff while resolving conflicts.Customer Service: A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experience.Attention to Detail: Ability to recognise and act on details that enhance on-site operations and experiences.Leadership: Confidence in leading a team in a dynamic and people-focused environment.Self-Starter: Proactive attitude and responsibility in managing site operations while remaining organised.Safety & Maintenance: Ensure patron safety and maintain a clean, well-presented facility for all to enjoy.Essential Qualifications (or willing to obtain):Current Blue Card (Working with children check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment.Current CPR (must be obtained within 4 weeks of starting).Current Pool Lifeguard (must be obtained within 4 weeks of starting).We have in-house trainers to run these courses and provide discounted rates for all employees.Our Culture:CVM people are essential to our success.
