Senior Document Controller – Australian Assets
Reporting to the Commercial Lead - Australian Operations, you will take ownership of ensuring all key documents relating to our Australian Operating Assets are accurately developed, maintained, retained and disposed of, in line with the MMG Information Management Framework.
This broad role offers a unique opportunity for a self-driven, experienced individual to engage with staff at all levels, including engineers, superintendents, and managers. You will work across diverse teams, supporting the development and maintenance of key documents that underpin our operations.
In this role, you will empower staff at each Australian Operating Asset site, including those in Melbourne, to adopt and correctly use MMG's document management processes and systems. As the document management system representative and support for our sites you will also work collaboratively to help embed process measures and controls that ensure effective compliance to document management-related MMG Standards and Frameworks.
The preferred base for this role is in our Melbourne Head Office in Southbank, however a Brisbane working from home base would also be considered. Regular FIFO roster travel is required to support our Australian Operating Asset sites in Dugald River, Queensland and Rosebery, Tasmania.
Key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring all documents are developed, maintained, retained and disposed of in accordance with the MMG Information Management Framework, in a highly efficient manner.
Supporting Australian Operating Asset staff in the adoption and correct usage of document management processes and systems.
Facilitating the adoption and understanding of the Document Management processes and systems through coaching, training and support to the Australian Operational Asset sites.
Providing monthly and ad-hoc reporting from MMG's Document Management System to Australian Operating Assets.
Embedding process measures and controls to ensure effective monitoring of compliance to document management related MMG Standards and Frameworks.
Maintaining MMG's intranet content for the Australian Operating Assets.
Collaborate with Head Office to suggest and deploy changes to the Document Management System and Intranet.
This role entails regular travel to MMG's Mine sites at Dugald River, Queensland and Rosebery, Tasmania.
