Senior Devsecops Engineer

Collaborative and relaxed culture where people are the most important element, and the work is always interesting!The organisation is investing heavily in uplifting all areas of Technology, with a particular focus on Cloud, Security & Data, where this role will play a crucial part.The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will make a huge impact on the Technology environment. This is a Greenfield role, responsible for all things DevSecOps and ensuring all deployments are extremely secure!What will you be doing?Owning DevSecOps across the business, working closely with the Cyber Security Manager and other Technology LeadersBring the DevSecOps lifecycle to the business, bringing team members together as requiredBuild policies, procedures and processes for DevSecOps, leveraging prior experience and market knowledgeCoach and guide the various Engineering teams on best practices and principles for secure code deploymentWork closely with the Engineers to understand the codeWhat will you need to be successful?Have experience building a DevSecOps capability from scratch priorStrong communicator, able to coach and guide Engineers and other teamsBe up to date with modern Cyber Security and DevSecOps tools/tech/best practiceBe hands on, get involved and show initiative - walk the talk!Experience with API's, scripting, coding, Azure environment (preferable)Experience with a wide range of DevSecOps technologies - it will be up to this person to decide what is used!This role requires candidates to be in Melbourne, with a hybrid working environment. It also requires Australian Citizenship or PR.
