About the opportunity
Reporting to the Design Manager, Tunnels & Civil, the role of Senior Design Coordinator is responsible for the client-side coordination of the design, development and engineering associated with the Suburban Rail Loop program related to multiple open-cut station boxes, large underground tunnel structures, civil earthworks, and ground engineering works. This will comprise of providing guidance across a range of engineering and design issues during each stage of project development.
The ability to build, maintain and influence strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is fundamental to the success of this role, as the role coordinates technical and engineering support to the project, including the review of designs for completeness, compliance to requirements, standards and constructability. You will draw upon technical specialist advice from subject matter experts to resolve a range of engineering design challenges, while providing support to the development of scope and requirements during development phases.
