This role will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of software projects within IOR, coordinating efforts across both offshore and onshore teams. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, testing, and deployment. This is a permanent opportunity, based on-site, in Cannon Hill.Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and timelinesManage and mentor a geographically dispersed team of software developers, QA engineers, and other technical staffIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with software delivery, ensuring proactive problem resolution, particularly in managing cross-border challenges, facilitate and participate in stakeholder workshops, meetings, requirements walkthrough sessions, and agile ceremonies.Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring alignment with architectural and design principles, whilst providing mentoring and leadership to the team.About youBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Extensive experience in software development and demonstrated experience in a delivery management role.Experience managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams, \working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices.Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, including cloud computing, microservices, and DevOps.Significant experience working within software engineering driven organisations, with a deep understanding of the technical challenges and opportunities involved in software development.Why IOR?IOR is proudly different.
