TSEG will achieve this by leading with integrity and values to enable us to provide entertainment, gaming, and leisure experiences safely, responsibly, and ethically.About the RoleAs a Senior Data Engineer reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for all stages in the design and implementation of Data Platform and Data Integration Platform development work, as well as developing, documenting, and maintaining platform-based standards and ensuring compliance.ResponsibilitiesProvide estimates for new design and development work (From Business SMEs).Take responsibility for all stages in the design and implementation of Data Platform and Data Integration Platform development work.Develop, document, and maintain platform-based standards, advise on their application and implementation, and ensure compliance.Work with and within Project teams and/or Business Stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet or exceed requirements, and within timeframes.Requirements analysis & data profiling to understand data sources, data sets and potential data gaps.What We Are Looking ForHands-on experience developing solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, SQL Server, Azure SQL DW.Demonstrated experience implementing solution designs and end-to-end development.Previous working experience with data languages: SQL, PySpark, and Spark SQL.Highly skilled in verbal and written communication to analyse, interpret and address customer needs at multiple levels.As a Senior Data Engineer, you excel in innovation and detail-oriented work, balancing proactive data system development with a keen ability to work both collaboratively and independently.Your dedication is reflected in your meticulous approach, ensuring not just functionality but also efficiency and foresight in your projects. Your primary aim is to drive organizational success through expert data management and insightful strategic contributions.
