Your key responsibilities as the Senior Corporate Tax Associate
The role encompasses corporate tax compliance and advisory tasks, including research and support for tax consulting on matters like tax consolidation, treaties, hybrid mismatches, and Controlled Foreign Companies. Responsibilities include assisting clients with M&A activities, tax structuring, and due diligence, as well as managing ATO reviews and audits. The position also involves researching technical tax issues, preparing tax reports, and filing company and trust tax returns for large corporate clients.
Requirements
Candidates should hold or be pursuing a professional qualification like CA or CTA. You should be a self-starter, eager to understand client needs and motivations. Experience in corporate tax within a commercial or professional services setting is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and client relationship skills are also required.
