About the Role: With a strong client relationship focus, this role encompasses quality residential, project (i.e., multi-site), and some commercial conveyancing. The primary purpose of the role is to oversee conveyancing files from initiation to settlement, providing expert advice, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all legal obligations are met. With a focus on delivering high-quality service, you will also provide support on complex matters such as subdivisions, off-the-plan developments, and multi-lot transactions. The role is designed for those who take pride in their work and strive for excellence in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities: Primarily oversee and manage residential transactions undertaken by the team (and potentially commercial conveyancing files if desired by candidate) from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the transaction process.Provide support on specialised conveyancing matters such as subdivisions and multi-lot settlements with attention to detail.Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing advice on contracts, settlements, and other relevant matters.Draft, review, and prepare transfer documentation, settlement statements, contracts and Form 1s, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Work autonomously on personal conveyancing portfolios while supporting team members as needed.Contribute to a collaborative team environment to ensure shared success and seamless workflow.Prerequisite Experience: 10+ years of experience as a registered conveyancer.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.Proficiency in PEXA.Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes, contract law, property law, and relevant statutory requirements.Ideal Candidate Attributes: High standard of quality and accuracy.Professionalism in client interactions and relations.Collaborative teamwork skills, contributing to positive outcomes.Consistent display of solutions-focused attitude and team spirit.Familiarity with LEAP Legal Practice Management Software or similar.Professional Development: As a senior member of our conveyancing team, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support conveyancing associates in the early stages of their professional development.
