We are continuing to pursue similar infrastructure and as a result are looking to strengthen our contracts team.About the Role:John Holland is currently seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator and supporting Contracts Administrators in Adelaide CBD.Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you'll be responsible for assisting in preparations and negotiating with sub-contractors for the calling of quotations and letting of contracts and provide contract administration services to assist in the project's control of contract costs.We are open to Quantity Surveyors who are on working holiday Visa's who have significant infrastructure experience.Key Responsibilities:Draft scopes of works and tender packages to accompany requests for quotations issued to subcontractors for projectsConduct initial investigations with subcontractors to clarify the organisation's conditions relating to contracts for prospective projectsManage and drive the review process to ensure the award of all subcontractors within the required time frame and budgetOperate and maintain commercial and contract systems including Project Costs Reporting (PCR), Asset Registers, Commercial Pack database and Contract Sum.Ensure cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes are accurately maintained and keep project management teams abreast of any costs issues immediately upon identificationInterpret specifications and drawings so as to understand scope of works for the project at Head Contract and Sub Contract scope levelParticipate in identification and quantification of Head ContractsManage subcontractors to ensure that Code compliance is maintained at all timesAssess commercial and contractual risks involved in delivery and implementation of projects and identify and implement controlsTo be successful in this key role:Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalentPost graduate qualifications e.g. graduate certificate, graduate diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Construction, Property, Quantity Surveying, Law or other associated disciplinesRelevant QS experience in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or associated disciplinesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in relevant software packages such as Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and exposure to a contract management system (CRM)What's in it for you when you join John Holland?We're about connecting your sense of purpose to ours.
