Senior Consultant Principal Engineer

In this role, you will:
The Principal Engineer will set the standard for the approach the engineering teams will take, be hands on a pair program with team's members.
Engage in hands-on development to balance workload or address significant complexity through technical spike: build, test including non-functional areas like security, reliability and performance.
Detail the technology roadmap in conjunction with the Distinguished Engineer and Head of Technology.
Triage new demand and ensures enough technology guidance exists at high level to initiate work and lead design activities.
Ensure that technical designs meet functional, resilience, throughput, security, reuse and simplicity needs.
What you will bring:
Extensive experience in application development.
Hands on experience in front-end development with JavaScript/Typescript and React.
Driving uplift in key engineering practices such as:
Front-end performance.
API development (REST & GraphQL).
Testing.
Build and automation tools.
Cloud native application development experience on one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
