We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team in Canberra.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a range of engagements, from strategy and risk to threat intelligence and technical advice, as well as being an active member of the team and supporting other matters such as cyber incidents, data privacy, and investigative matters.

What you will do Quantifying gaps in cyber resilience, maturity, or capability. Designing or executing strategies and programs to address known gaps or build governance capabilities. Measuring and assessing compliance against standards such as the NIST CSF, ISO27001, ISM, and the ACSC Essential 8. Establishing cyber and privacy risk management programs. Assisting clients with incident response and recovery from cyber incidents. Contributing to successful digital forensics and eDiscovery engagements. Developing and enhancing third-party and cyber supply chain security and resilience programs. Preparing detailed written reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations. Preparing and presenting your work as part of client briefings in person. Identifying appropriate security controls and providing recommendations to enhance and deploy security solutions in complex production environments. Developing written proposals and deliverables independently and in teams. Working closely with our team members and clients, maintaining a professional and supportive environment including mentoring and developing those with less experience. Who you are Hold a degree or similar qualification or demonstrated combination of training, certification, work experience, and technical expertise. Developing proficiency and a passion for government cyber security, including the technical aspects of cyber/information security/information governance & privacy. Experience assisting with cyber-related projects, such as conducting security risk assessments, reviewing maturity against frameworks, or assisting with incident/data breach response. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ambition, drive, and determination. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fantastic teamwork skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure. Due to the nature of work, applicants must be Australian citizens and currently hold a security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
