Salary: Level 6, $110,309 - $121,569 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing December 2024
The Commercial Services Directorate is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to work within the Commercial Procurement Services (CPS) team who is interested in and passionate about improving educational outcomes for students in public schools through best procurement practice.

The Role
The CPS team provides procurement and contract development services for all Department of Education (the Department) contracts valued at $50,000 or more.
This includes the preparation of procurement documents including Procurement Plans, Requests and evaluation reports, as well as the facilitation of tender evaluations in compliance and alignment with the WA Procurement Rules.

You will provide proactive, timely advice and information to stakeholders on contract compliance, practice and management matters whilst liaising with other parties, including the Department of Finance, on matters relating to procurement and contracting.
The successful applicant will maintain a focus on customer service delivery and continuous improvement of services, develop and maintain effective communication links and working relationships to ensure access to diverse specialist knowledge.
