Senior Compliance & Reporting Officer Are you passionate about leading and executing streamlined legal panel compliance strategies that align with CSO goals? Temporary role based in the Sydney CBD (Martin Place) with flexible work arrangements available.Classification grade: Clerk Grade 7/8Salary: $106,025- $117,363 p.a. base salary (superannuation and annualised leave loading are paid in addition)Work type: Temporary 24 months with a possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing, full-time - 35 hours per weekAbout the roleThe Crown Solicitor's Office is seeking a Senior Compliance and Reporting Officer to take on a critical role in overseeing legal panel compliance and reporting functions across the organisation.This position oversees all compliance and reporting activities to meet panel and related client reporting requirements, ensuring information is provided with clarity, accuracy and timeliness.You will be a key stakeholder in the development of enhanced practice management reporting solutions and lead the development of reports and comprehensive guidelines aimed at equipping staff with the requisite knowledge to uphold compliance standards.Key responsibilities include:Promoting and overseeing compliance with legal panel requirements through the design and implementation of robust compliance programs.Efficient reporting processes, conducting thorough audits, and generating detailed reports.The role is crucial for aligning panel compliance initiatives with the organisation's objectives, particularly in terms of risk management, standards enhancement, and facilitating informed decision-making within the CSO.Essential requirements Appropriate tertiary qualifications or relevant professional experience in reporting and compliance in a legal environment. Strong working knowledge and experience in utilising reporting functions of practice management systems such as Elite 3E.About you.
