The Role:
A site-based role, this position will see you working in their high calibre commercial team and reporting through to the Head of Commercial for Retail & Consumer. Your responsibilities will include:
Business partnering with the Retail & site-based operations team; Lead the annual budgets and quarterly re-forecast process; Ensure accurate and timely weekly and monthly financial reporting including the analysis of performance and business trends; Develop, maintain and distribute accurate and timely KPIs and associated analysis both internally and externally; Provide analysis to make informed decisions aimed at maximising profitability for a given level of risk; Collaborate with the Business Development team in the preparation of tenders and customer analysis; Contribute to effective client management; Manage contract change requests; Provide unbiased critiques of commerciality of new business, renewals and contract change requests; Lead a team. The Successful Applicant:
You will have completed your CPA / CA qualification. You will be from supply chain / distribution, retail or an FMCG industry with a minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial finance role. Paramount to this role is your ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the business and the key drivers for business performance. Advanced MS Excel including financial modelling, superior verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths.
