Junior Paralegal The opportunity As a Junior Paralegal, you will provide support to the Chief Legal Officer and Resourcing team in a diverse and friendly environment with great opportunities for professional growth.
Job Type: Casual / Part-time (2.5 days minimum) / Full-time

Key Responsibilities: Document and File Management: Preparing documents for review. Organising and maintaining legal files and records. Support with training materials and programs.General Administration: Undertake general administration tasks, including scheduling, document management, correspondence, and office support.Team support: Providing support to the senior paralegals and Chief Legal Officer including legal research, document drafting, precedent management and contract management. Supporting the Resourcing team when needed.Practice support: Support key projects and report on outcomes to contribute to organisational success.Our ideal candidates will have: A strong passion for learning and a keen interest in the legal field.Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple priorities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all tasks.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to be seconded to clients including pro Bono.Senior Paralegal The opportunity: As a Senior Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of functions, making a meaningful impact on both companies. Your role will support the Chief Legal Officer and ensure the smooth functioning of the paralegal team, driving efficiency, strategic goals, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Senior Paralegal Support: Undertake senior paralegal duties, including developing training and continuing professional development.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted liaison with internal teams and external partners, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.Team management: Lead and support the junior paralegal team on behalf of the Chief Legal Officer. Provide mentorship and feedback to junior paralegals.Practice management: Support and drive key projects, monitoring progress and delivering outcomes that contribute to organisational success.Our ideal candidates will have all the attributes of a Junior Paralegal and: Experienced in a senior support role in law, professional or government services.Leadership and mentoring skills are highly desirable.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to anticipate needs and identify opportunities.Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.Applications close on the 6th of January.
