Senior Civil Engineer, WaterWe support water customers across Australia to provide our communities with the best drinking water and innovate ways to safeguard and secure our country's water supplies, while elevating public spaces and enhancing livability.The OpportunityThis is an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with Water Industry, Planning, Design or Construction Experience.You'll be a key member of KBR's Water team who, in a joint venture with John Holland, has been delivering Melbourne Water's complex infrastructure projects through a major design and construction framework, that will see us supporting Melbourne Water for well over a decade of continuous service.In addition, the team is delivering major capital projects to South East Water's record $1.5 billion investment as part of a new industry partnership between Abergeldie, BMD & KBR (ABK). The 10-year contract will see ABK plan and deliver major infrastructure upgrades in partnership with South East Water as part of a new integrated capital works planning and delivery model.As part of our team, you will play a key role in the development of junior engineers and strongly contribute to client relationships, technical oversight, and the commercial success of the business unit. You will collaborate with a diverse team of talented people who are committed to supporting our clients through long-term partnership arrangements; not to mention a key contributor to delivering projects.Who are you?We are looking for a delivery-focused Senior Civil Engineer looking to take the next step and join our high-performing Victoria Water team. You will be motivated by achievement, outcome-focused, and present professionally and in a friendly manner to peers, clients, and stakeholders.You will have previous experience in a similar senior role in the water sector and effective communication and people skills. You will have experience in strategic planning and investigation and can produce high-quality reports and proposals.You will have the following skills and experience:Hold an accredited Bachelor of Civil EngineeringDesign experience with knowledge of industry standards. Preferably experience with undertaking designs in accordance with the Melbourne Region Water Authority Design Standards (MRWA WSAA Standards).Proven ability to work in engineering and design modelling teams, work directly with Water Authority clients, and manage projects to scope, budget, and program.Previous experience gained within an engineering consultancy environment.You are a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation.Who are we?Our water team offers services across the full water cycle, delivering major pipelines, large pumping stations, and advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plants.We address critical water cycle challenges and provide solutions through adopting flexible program delivery models and ongoing asset management programs.
