Senior Civil Designer

The Opportunity Due to the successful tender of several projects and organic team growth, our client is seeking experienced Senior Project Engineer - Civil  to join their Perth team.What you'll have:   Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.8+ years of experience in project engineering.Experience working in the mining project environment.Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.Good organisational skills and undertakes tasks with diligence and attention to the necessary detail.Strong understanding of Project Contracting Strategy and ability to formulate execution strategies for Contracting.Ability to scope various discipline construction packages, tender, evaluate and write recommendations for award.Strong knowledge of the local market and key players.Demonstrable background in awarding and managing contractor performance onsite.Responsibilities:   Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve problems including minimizing risk and delay.Ensure the project deliverables and documentation meet client requirements and the specified engineering standards.Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect to budgets, schedules, and engineering standards;  Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates.
