Details of the offer

Your Role As a Senior Case Manager, you'll work alongside your own team and the wider claims departments towards a single goal: guiding injured worker's through the claims process and helping them to return to work and to life.
You'll be a central point of contact for your own portfolio of injured workers at an integral part of their claims journey by ensuring the payment of weekly compensation, reviewing medical treatment compensation, and working with injured workers and their healthcare professionals to assist in their safe return to work. Our Senior Case Managers play a vital part in ensuring Injured Workers and Employers have a trusted partner in the claims process.

This position will be a launching pad for your successful work cover career and can lead to career pathways in Return to Work, Injury Management and Technical Claims Specialist roles.
You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
Providing a professional and customer focused Workers Compensation claims service through effective claims management
Determining claims with increasing levels of risk within your portfolio, and strategizing for both current and potential liabilities on these claims
Delivering high quality customer service towards all parties, and demonstrating a commitment to learning and development
Working in conjunction with both external parties such as medical professionals, treating health providers and employers, and internal teams such as your Injury Management and Technical teams to facilitate and influence a sustainable return to work and life for injured workers
Participating in Case Conferences and implementing strategies for effective cost management on claims

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Case management experience, or studies within the Psychology, Legal, Social work or Allied Health/Health Science disciplines (ideal, but not essential)
Recent work experience within a customer service focussed role
Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
An aptitude for working within a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment
