Job Description This position focuses on driving strategic growth, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other key stakeholders in the commercial transportation sector.
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in business development and strategic sales within the automotive or industrial manufacturing sectors, with a proven ability to navigate competitive markets and achieve revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities New Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities within the automotive and commercial transportation markets.
Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and expand the customer base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and other strategic partners.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Strategic Planning: Align business development initiatives with organisational goals and regional growth strategies.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify opportunities for growth.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed annual revenue and profitability targets.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaboration and Feedback: as well as Work with internal teams, including engineering, production, and marketing, to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Provide insights to product development teams on evolving market demands and customer requirements.
