Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our banking client, focusing initially on operational risk projects and workflow enhancement. This role is ideal for a proactive Business Analyst with strong stakeholder management skills and a background in process management or mapping . You'll be joining at the "evaluate" stage of a significant project, with the opportunity to work from the ground up in designing and implementing a streamlined business approvals process for new banking products.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage primarily with workstream leads, expanding to additional divisions as projects progress. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to capture and refine business requirements, with a focus on risk assessment and process optimization. Process Mapping & Workflow Development: Analyze, map, and redesign the business approval processes for greater efficiency, while balancing risk management and stakeholder needs. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments for new projects or business processes, ensuring the process aligns with RMG's standards. Change Analysis: Contribute to change management efforts, including stakeholder and impact analysis, as this project lacks a dedicated change manager.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 5-7 years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services Communication: Ability to bridge business requirements with risk teams, ensuring clear communication and documentation. Operational Risk Exposure (as a BA): Experience or familiarity with operational risk or risk management is highly preferred. Process Management: Strong skills in process mapping and translating business logic into actionable workflows. Workflow enhancement: prior experience on workflow enhancement is a must
