$143,798 per annum + Superannuation Full Time, Ongoing Positon Geelong / Melbourne (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office) About the role Return to Work Victoria (RTWV) is a high performing Business Unit that has been established to centralise WorkSafe's claims management, recovery, return to work and insurance functions.
The Senior Business Analyst, is responsible for facilitating the delivery of performance monitoring, reporting and analysis, from within the RTWV business Unit, and to the Unit from other areas of the business including the Data and Analytics division.
The Senior Business Analyst reports to the Director – Performance RTWV within the Performance and Operation Strategy Division.
With the WorkCover Scheme undergoing significant modernisation, this small but important division will ensure RTWV have visibility of and into insight performance to deliver service and sustainability.
Key accountabilities: Lead the identification and analysis of RTWV reporting and analytics artefacts, including requirements and business rules Facilitate workshops to gather, inform, socialise, and gain acceptance of business analysis deliverables Manage data and reporting requests from RTWV Directors and their teams, to data and technology stakeholders within RTWV and in other areas including IMF Collaborate with delivery stakeholders to ensure RTWV reporting and analytic backlogs are prioritised Contribute to preparation of appropriate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) plans & scripts, and lead/support the business representatives in the conducting of appropriate UAT & BAT Please ensure you click here to view the Position Description provided for additional information on accountabilities for this role.
About you You will be an experienced Senior Business Analyst having worked within the personal injury insurance scheme sector.
With strong research, analytical and problem solving skills, you will also have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
You will be able to: Understand practical claims management Build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders Consult on performance and metrics Skills and experience: Proven experience in advanced business analysis techniques, methods and tools that enable informal leadership and guidance to a team of high performance and experienced Business Analysts Extensive practical experience in waterfall and/or agile project delivery frameworks / methodologies and advanced knowledge of the SDLC and BA involvement across the entire project lifecycle Knowledge of BA Methodologies and Governing Bodies (e.g.
