This position is responsible for working closely and engaging with stakeholders to understand the business intentions, services, processes, information needs and requirements to inform solutions design, development and implementation to meet business objectives.
The role manages, develops and documents quality solutions that deliver scalable integration solutions that meet immediate needs as well as long-term strategic objectives for the organisation.
What you'll do
As part of the ICT team you will:
Analyse complex and multifaceted business processes to recommend integrated solutions that deliver business value and meet the organisation's immediate needs and long-term strategic objectives. Investigate and document workflows to understand processes and identify technology solution requirements based on stated business requirements, specify effective data flow relative to stated business processes and determine options/impacts for new and existing solutions, including recommendations to ensure seamless delivery of projects to timelines and budgets. Drive continuous improvement by researching products and best practices to bolster the technology services including integration options, identifying opportunities for improved performance and process automation. Provide expert advice by analysing existing systems, applications and functions to draw business-relevant conclusions and ensure business objectives are identified, described, documented and aligned to integrated solutions development. Provide expert advice and information on technical integration and architectural services issues to assist with specifying business requirements and scopes of work for new or existing solutions. Prepare documentation and articulate business processes to develop integrated standards for programming tools and techniques and provide advice and guidance to ensure consistency in applied methodologies, compliance and quality of integrated solutions that effectively meet business needs. What we're looking for Ability to understand complex workflows and manual processes undertaken by numerous stakeholders to sufficiently understand existing processes to determine future solutions. Ability to manage consultation and negotiation with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints and interests. Experience in analysing data from a variety of sources to ascertain suitability for the program outcomes. Keeping up to date with developments in the technology and with the needs of a fast-paced NSW Government agency to identify opportunities for improvement. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders of varying technical skills, experiences and backgrounds. What We Offer
