This is a terrific opportunity for a construction lawyer at Senior Associate level to join a Band 1 Chambers team with a culture of excellence. Given the growth of our practice, we are seeking a construction lawyer with between four and eight years' experience.
You will have the opportunity to be mentored and trained by the leading Queensland construction team, working on market leading projects and disputes across Australia in energy, infrastructure (including the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games), property, health, transport and resources. We act for Government, owners, developers and contractors, spanning the full life cycle of Australia's major projects.
Our Team MinterEllison is one of very few firms in the Australian market with a comprehensive integrated Construction, Infrastructure and Project Finance capability capable of handling the complete range of work across the full lifecycle of a project from finance arrangements and business case development to project documentation, contract administration and dispute resolution.
The team's Partners are recognised as leaders in the construction industry for their commerciality and their depth of knowledge and expertise. A position within the team therefore offers the opportunity to learn from the best. While this role is based in Brisbane, you will work on a range of projects in Queensland and nationally and there will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national team on large scale projects within other jurisdictions.
