You'll be responsible for:Reviewing and investigating claims or complaints subject of thematic/systemic and/or emerging issues arising identified within General Insurance Claims.Providing critical analysis of reviews and provision of recommendations to prevent reoccurrence, improve controls and determine root cause.Liaising with Risk & Compliance, Legal and other business teams/units to collate data, investigate, collate and review information, requested by regulators.Providing subject matter expertise, review and recommendations for business processes and protocol uplifts, including providing meaningful insights based on review outcomes.Contributing to the strengthening of governance, risk management, internal controls environment and the risk culture of AAL.About You:Strong operational knowledge and experience in claims and/or complaints.Experience in project management, data analysis or dispute resolution would be desirable.Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.Displays objectivity and independence in the work and sound ethical and professional conduct/judgment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.What's On Offer:Be part of a team that's open-minded, supportive, and genuinely focused on customer outcomes.A sense of belonging in the workplace, where you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your most authentic self to work.An employer that is committed to supporting your work/life balance and is always open to conversations about flexible & remote working.Access to over 10,000 on-demand learning resources and programs, to support you in taking control of your career development.Insurance products.
