It focuses on delivering data as a product, ensuring cost efficiency, optimization, automation, quality, performance, and user experience. DataOps practices are applied across the data stack, and regular office hours are hosted to assist users with automating queries, analyses, and reports. Additionally, the role involves identifying cost-saving solutions for compute and storage while staying current with industry standards for modern data management.ABOUT YOU:You are a data powerhouse with a degree in a quantitative discipline and 6+ years of hands-on experience in data warehouse implementation and management. Armed with deep expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Airflow, SQL/Python, APIs, and cutting-edge DevOps tools like CI/CD pipelines, you've mastered modern data stacks to drive innovation across R&D, manufacturing, and industrial automation. Exceptional communication, a knack for SCADA systems, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Mode and Grafana equip you to turn raw data into actionable insights. Stop work will be called when it is unsafe to work.Position may require working at heights including; climbing ladders/equipment, stairs, elevators, and working on scissor lifts.Capable of performing repetitive duties including; lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time.Experience using basic hand and power tools safely.
