We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Workforce Data and Reporting to assist our client in the government sector based in Melbourne CBD. Hybrid role - flexible work arrangement 6 months contract VPS Grade 4 - hourly rate of $62.80 The Role This role supports the Workforce Data and Reporting team, part of the People, Safety, and Culture group, by producing high-quality workforce data, reports, and analysis. As a Senior Analyst - Workforce Data and Reporting, you will work within a collaborative and dynamic team, producing insightful workforce data and reports. Your work will guide key decisions related to turnover, absenteeism, and leave management while providing commentary and trend analysis for stakeholders, including senior management and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities Create and deliver monthly and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce summaries. Analyse workforce data trends and develop actionable insights to support planning decisions. Manage reporting processes, including responding to workforce information requests. Collaborate on reporting initiatives with team members and leadership. Enhance workforce reporting accessibility through streamlined solutions. Key Requirements Technical Expertise Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables). Proficiency with HRIS (Chris21 experience is a bonus). Familiarity with Power BI is not mandatory but desirable. Strong analytical skills to interpret and present complex data. Experience Background in payroll reporting, HR, or data analytics. Experience producing workforce dashboards and managing reports. Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication. Personal Attributes Strong time management and organizational skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
