Senior Analyst | Financial Intelligence UnitJoin our Global Financial Crime Team based in Sydney and play a key role conducting Financial Crime enhanced due diligence and investigations to support an intelligence led approach to managing Financial Crime Risk.
This role is a fixed term position until the end of March 2025.

What role will you play?As a Senior Analyst, you will support Macquarie's assessment of Financial Crime Risk. Through delivery of comprehensive, succinct and risk focused enhanced due diligence and risk assessments, you will be working across sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons, adverse media and transaction monitoring alerts.
You will engage with the Global Regional Advisory teams to identify higher risk customers and transactions, report breaches where relevant, and highlight opportunities to enhance policies, systems and controls. In addition, you will contribute to the maintenance of team procedures for the Financial Intelligence Unit and be involved in providing input on process enhancements and implementation of changes of day to day responsibilities.

About the Risk Management GroupIn our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
