Your New Role:

As the Senior Analyst - Data Privacy Management you will join our Data Services Team and play a key role in supporting our organization's data culture, aligning with business objectives, and mitigating data risks. You will focus on assisting with effective data governance practices with a focus on data privacy management, fostering collaboration, and supporting change across data domains.

You will work take part in the development of leading privacy protection data management practices that ensure compliance with global obligations and support delivery of the Funds strategy. You will also support oversight of Data Privacy related issues as they arise with ensuring continual improvement and maturity uplift. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our data management strategies and the efficiency of our global operations.

Key duties include but are not limited to: Assist in the implementation of Data Privacy policies and procedures across the fund.Contribute to establishing and maintaining innovative ways of working that cultivate a Data Privacy culture balancing risk and business value.Collaborate with data governance and domain data teams.Support the creation of comprehensive and mature Data Privacy control environments that align with and deliver business strategies.Contribute to defining and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Data Privacy Management maturity and effectiveness within the domain.Collaborate with Data Enablement and divisional change management functions to support a strong data culture and new ways of working.Maintain knowledge of domain-specific regulations globally that relate to privacy data.Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of data governance policies and practices within the domain. What You'll Need: At least 8+ years of experience in data governance and data management in financial institution, with substantial experience in directly partnering with senior business stakeholders and operational teams in relation to handling of personal data.Good working knowledge of data privacy principles, data management standards, and Australian, GDPR and global privacy protection regulations.Proven track record in support the analysis of privacy issues and formulation of realistic actions plans that support root cause resolutions and impactful reductions in risk balanced against operational imperatives.Working understanding of personal data collected in relation to superannuation and corporate operations.Experience working with facilitating workshops and co-ordinating cross-functional teams that operate globally and facilitating groups to deliver Data Privacy outcomes and solutions.Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex data concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.Comfortable in preparing general documentation and presentations incl. approach and framework documentation, training materials, quick ref guides, procedures etc. Life at AustralianSuper
