Job Description Senior Analyst, Consumer Finance Credit Risk • Permanent • Location- Sydney How will I help?

As the Senior Analyst within the Consumer Finance Credit Risk team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sustainable portfolio performance and great customer outcomes. You will directly contribute to our vision of being one of the world's great companies, helping our customers, communities, and people to prosper and grow.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Undertake customer-centric analysis to proactively identify trends and emerging risks that need to be addressed, to maintain the integrity of the Consumer Finance portfolio.Develop and maintain portfolio reporting to provide actionable insights that can drive best practice risk management practices, to support better outcomes for our customers and the business.Assist the Consumer Finance business in ensuring the product and customer strategies deployed are profitable and sustainable through quantifying risk vs reward trade-offs.Collaborate with the Consumer Finance product team as a credit risk subject matter expert, to ensure business activities are aligned with our risk appetite and meeting customer needs. What do I need? Tertiary qualifications in the field of analytics, data science, and/or modelling.Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytical field, ideally in credit risk.Strong functional experience using SQL, Python, and R programming skills in a work environment.Preference for having SAS programming working experience.Experienced with big data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
