The Compliments and Complaints Unit (CCU), within the Office of the Medical Director, ensures the effectiveness of the complaints management system using a task, support, and report model.
The Senior Advisor coordinates the collation, assessment, allocation and reporting of all feedback.
The position will support effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide high level support to the Executive Manager in the development, implementation, and oversight of the QAS Complaints Management Framework, and all associated policies and procedures.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, the following key attributes: Demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing and overseeing a complex and diverse complaints management system. Demonstrated understanding of Section 264 of the Public Sector Act 2022, the Human Rights Act 2019, and Australian Standard AS 10002:2022 Guidelines for complaint management in organizations. Success in the development and implementation of practical, efficient, and effective governance arrangements in respect to a range of corporate support functions, including complaints management. Demonstrated well developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills and the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a flexible and agile approach in a complex, rapidly changing and sensitive organisational environment. Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to set and review priorities and manage multiple complex projects within tight deadlines with a high level of autonomy.
