Due to this growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper to become an integral part of their finance team and contribute to their ongoing success.
The Position: You'll be joining a close-knit team eager to welcome you and provide the opportunity to showcase your strong technical expertise, proactive mindset, and confident approach to managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include; Accounts Payable Enter and receipt orders and process AP transactions Prepare multicurrency AP reports and manage weekly payment runs, remittances, and expense claims Process credit/debit card transactions and set up new suppliers Reconcile supplier statements and address accounts, rebates, and grants queries Liaise with suppliers for approvals, payment dates, and manual EFT payments Resolve invoice discrepancies and meet supplier expectations Reconciliation of AP subsidiary ledger to GL Month End Accounting Perform bank reconciliations and account preparations Support month-end close, BAS preparation, and financial reporting Reconcile supplier and customer deposits; maintain EOM records Manage and reconcile AMEX accounts Assist with GST and FBT compliance Assist with payroll and back up accounts receivable The Candidate: Proven experience as a Senior Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper Strong Excel and experience using MYOB, Sage or Pronto The ability to professionally liaising with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience across all function including AP, AR, Payroll, Tax and month end highly preferred Strong reconciliation skills The Benefits: Professional development and career advancement on offer An environment that is committed to fostering diverse an inclusive work environment An opportunity to assist with process improvement Parramatta CBD – close to train station Work from the office 5 days per week $80,000 - $85,000 + super 8.30-5.00pm If you thrive on a busy environment, have initiative and a strong eye for detail then this role could be for you.
