Core Talent are supporting a global service company to recruit a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a new role due to a recent merger and continuous growth. The company is currently working in 60 countries. Supported by an award-winning CFO, the Senior Accountant will play a massive part in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function as well as assisting in driving the business forward.
The Senior Accountant's key duties will include: Preparation of management accounts Month-end journals / accruals / prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare various monthly company and cost centre reports Maintain the fixed assets register Oversee the AP and AR functions and ensure adherence to systems Process and reconcile overseas payments Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT returns Coordinate periodic stock takes and address any resulting variances Process stock adjustments Assist the CFO in preparing various analysis reports to enable timely decision-making Experience of being in a similar position Confident with month-end accounting Effective communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders.
