You won't be stuck posting journals or doing mundane BAU - automation and outsourcing takes the heavy-lifting out of this role to allow you to do what you're good at, providing expert tax and accounting advice and managing client relationships. You will act as a reviewer for the outsourced offshore team's working papers. In combination with the offshore team you will:
Prepare financial accounts and income tax returns for small business clientsManage client's tax compliance and ensure timely lodgementsHandle responsibilities encompassing BAS, IAS, and FBT returnsPerform CGT calculations, depreciation adjustments, and identify Div7a issuesThe perfect candidate for this Senior Accountant position brings along a wealth of experience from a chartered accounting firm in Australia. You are either pursuing or have already obtained your CA/CPA qualification. Your strong communication skills combined with effective problem-solving abilities make you stand out. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and MYOB is highly desirable while familiarity with FYI Docs would be an added advantage. Above all, you enjoy building long-lasting relationships.
