We are a leading provider of business services, audit, superannuation, tax and specialist services to clients locally and internationally.
Our Business Services team is an integrated group of specialists that deliver services specifically developed and tailored to each business, providing clients with sound financial strategies, reporting and governance.
We can act as an outsourced role on the client's management team, helping clients to develop better relationships with key stakeholders such as their banks and financiers.
About the role Core responsibilities will include:
Preparation of larger groups consisting of companies, partnerships, trusts, individuals & SMSF'sPreparation of business activity statements for various business structuresLiaison with the ATO on all client related mattersSole management of small client portfolioLeading the training & supervision of junior staffCoordination & review of work prepared by junior staff & offshore teamPreparation and presentation of internal technical training sessionsPreparation of Client updates & alertsPreparation of simple & complex Fringe Benefit Tax returnsAssist with preparing advice on tax and business issuesPreparation of a multitude of ad hoc reports for financial, tax, and regulatory purposesHands on preparation of advanced tax and advisory workSkills: Time management, detail-oriented, and organized, with ability to multi-taskEffective written and oral communication skills within all levels of the organizationAssist in the learning and development of junior staffBasic understanding of tax laws, state taxes and duties relating to resident taxpayersAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and WordWorking knowledge of various range of accounting systemsIdentify business performance issues and ability to identify key indicators.Qualifications: A minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experienceHave completed a relevant accounting degree (BCom or BBus)Advanced knowledge of computerized accounting packages i.e., IPS, APS, Xero and MYOB.To be considered, please submit a resume and cover letter.
