As a Business Services Senior Accountant, you will be a first point of contact dealing directly with clients, allowing you to continually improve your advisory skills which will help you step up to Management in the future.
In this role, you will assist in the mentoring and training of junior accountants and working on outstanding client base.
You will be encouraged to provide high-level advisory services and report directly to a market leading Partner who will mentor you through your progression in the firm. You will use your exceptional experience to make a difference to your clients whilst refining your own leadership skills.
Some of your responsibilities:
Use your strong technical skills including working knowledge of income tax, company tax, CGT, FBT, trusts, Division 7A, management accounting and reporting requirements.
Assist in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses.
Work on business advisory projects
Utilise your strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products
Complete and supervise an engagement involving multiple entities and various structures from beginning to end.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
5+ years of Business Services Accounting experience;
Be a Qualified Chartered Accountant
Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Strong analytical and advisory skills;
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
Excellent technical ability with Division 7A, tax planning, PSI, Trust issues, GST and CGT;
