Responsible for safeguarding the organization as a security subject matter expert.
The role is expected to analyze complex threats, develop solutions to mitigate risks, and collaborate across departments to implement security measures and best practices.
Responsibilities: Provides in-depth knowledge and analysis of complex security issues as a subject matter expertConducts thorough research and analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trendsSupports security management in interpreting and applying complex security data for informed decision-makingDevelops and implements security solutions to mitigate identified risks and stays updated on latest security technologies, tools and best practicesCollaborates with other functions to integrate security measures into existing systems and processesConducts security assessments and documents procedures and policiesPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Education:
Degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is requiredFor Associate level, prior experience is not requiredFor Senior level, at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Accuracy and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCertification to operate X-ray security equipmentWorking knowledge of security equipmentStrong proficiency in EnglishPreferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: FedEx was built on a philosophy that puts people first, one we take seriously.
