Our Facility Security Officers are trained to support our energy client in delivering energy services safely. In a varied role, their primary responsibility is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all people on the premises. More specifically, you will be responsible for:Patrolling large areas.Serve as part of an Initial Response Team and respond to emergencies and assist paramedics.Provide surveillance and de-escalate incidents.Perform drug and alcohol tests.Provide customer service by assisting all of our client's staff, visitors, and contractors.Ensure all facility security systems and services are compliant.Submit detailed reports on safety and security hazards or breaches.What we're looking forCandidates must live locally in Karratha.Hold a Western Australian Driver's Licence.Hold a Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd ControlHold a Certificate II Security OperationsHave received or renewed your CPR cert within the yearThe recruitment processG4S runs a staged recruitment process which includes:Applying online with a CV.Shortlisted applicants will have a quick 10-minute phone call with our Talent Advisor - to learn more about the role.An in person or online interview with the team via Google Meet.Background checks, including a national police check, reference checks, a medical assessment, and security qualifications + ID form.Before starting work all candidates must complete the Industry Safety Induction training and our client's online learning modules.
