About You As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School Carnes Hill's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate: strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines experience working in administration experience with CiA or the ability to learn new systems ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite) interpersonal skills in working with a range of people excellent written and oral communication accuracy and attention to detail proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students ability to work autonomously with minimal direction to set deadlines and timeframes ability to interact positively with a helpful and cooperative approach to parents, students and staff ability to engage with all school processes including WHS, recruitment, maintenance of facilities and administrative support experience with Compass PHRIS and Ancestry programs is essential a flexible and service-orientated approach ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement ability to maintain strict confidentiality strong demonstrated experience with high-level administration a flexible attitude with the willingness to learn new skills First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) ability to assist in the processing of school fees, payments, banking and orders/purchasing ability around organisational and time management skills proven experience in a school office environment other duties as directed by the Principal.
You will have attained: a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent.
