Administration Officer - Level 4 (Front Office) Level 4 - 76 hours per fortnight during school terms Permanent - Fulltime or partime negotiable Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4:06pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break Role Outline Located in the Front Office, under the administrative direction and functional guidance of the Campus Director - Enterprise and Partnerships and the Office Manager, the Front Office support ensures a welcoming presence and effective assistance is offered to parents, students, staff and visitors to the College whilst being responsive to the immediate needs.
Requirements of the Role Support of the Catholic ethos Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with various students, staff, parents and community partners Strong planning and organisation skills Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work Knowledge and ability to operate complex office equipment, online and digital applications Undertake development programs relevant to the skills and duties to be undertaken Key accountabilities Front Office: Maintain a welcoming presence for parents and visitors to the College Direct telephone calls, messages and emails to relevant personnel Assist students, staff, parents and visitors with queries Maintain accurate information including student attendance and enrolment data on Compass Maintain injury and incident reports with accurate data entry into Compass Provide professional support including data entry, Google applications, electronic rolls, attendance records and student enrolments Eftpos payments and receipting Maintain student files and upload all relevant information Ensure the front office is organised, neat and tidy at the end of each day Assist with the coordination of school functions and events.
Assist other support staff on a needs basis as directed by the Campus Director - Enterprise and Partnerships, including school fee collection.
Assist with basic follow up of WHS issues and implementation of WHS management system, including checking licences of onsite contractors.
Other duties as assigned by the Principal or delegate.. Key accountabilities: Student Care: Attending to students in Sick Bay with follow up communication with parents Maintain documentation and duty bags for evacuation and lockdown procedures Maintain Medication and ensure all Medical Alerts are current.
