About the job
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Sales Specialist to lead on direct sales of our award-winning SAS Data & AI Solutions and services to prospective and existing customers across Australia & New Zealand region.
In this role, you will provide expertise on products/solutions and industry to identify, develop and close deals engaging with large corporate institutions.

As a Senior Solutions Sales Specialist, you will:
Develop data & AI business in ANZ region through building and sustaining client relationships at senior level including but not limited to CAIO, CDO and CIO.
This includes uncovering business needs, initiating and supporting GTM activities, helping integrate solutions sales strategy into overall account plans.
Qualify opportunities and identify resources required.
Lead opportunity pursuits by managing and influencing requirements to gain competitive edge.
Create and present sales proposals to successfully communicate the value of SAS Data & AI Solutions and services.
Advance and close opportunities through milestone steps of sales cycle.
Fulfill widerange of requests for information from prospective and current customers.
Understand SAS' pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix, and apply it to your work.
Work with other sales professionals, pre-sales and executives to react quickly to highly qualified, high revenue potential leads.
Provide a superior customer experience – we go the extra mile for our customers – and track customer satisfaction.
Travel as business requires – sometimes, you've got to meet your customers where they're at, literally.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Advanced knowledge of data and AI ecosystem, competitive landscape, data lake infrastructure and modern data architecture.
Advanced skills in analyzing and evaluating territory dynamics and developing sales plans.
Expert skills in communicating technical and business concepts and relating them to SAS applications and user needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel as required.
Proven record in a sales capacity, managing responsibilities and challenges that come with it.
