Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer We have an incredible opportunity for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Melbourne based team on a 6 month fixed-term contract.
The Role You Could Play Our growing Personalisation team is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer who will play a key role in bringing the MECCA magic to life through our digital channels with experiences that delight and inspire action. You will be part of a team responsible for accelerating growth, continuing to extend and deepen our capability on the SFMC platform.
Additionally, some of your key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements Solution design, document and deliver SFMC solutions Implement SFMC solutions using SQL, Ampscript, HTML, CSS and Javascript Support automation team in troubleshooting SFMC configuration, email content, automation or journey issues Support and extend the Interaction Studio platform implementation, including but not limited to the site map, campaign templates and recipes Work with architecture and integration teams to develop best practice solutions within SFMC Support Application Services team, where required to troubleshoot issues Work collaboratively with the marketing automation specialists and data analysts to ensure ongoing quality and health of the SFMC platform, including the Marketing Cloud Connector with Salesforce Service Cloud Support testing of changes in both SFMC and Interaction Studio What You Will Bring Your expertise with the platform will enable you to undertake complex SQL, Ampscript, Javascript, HTML and CSS tasks. You will be the SFMC subject matter expert and work with a range of stakeholders to implement journeys that integrate with the wider MECCA ecosystem. In conjunction to your technical capabilities, you will have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively and clearly to business counterparts.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Information Technology 3+ Years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience 3+ years development experience with: AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery 3+ years API system integrations with REST or SOAP APIs Strong data communication skills (both written & verbal) and ability to manage and present to multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate in finding solutions Experience in agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence Strong attention to detail Experience with cloud pages, code resource pages and data capture forms Understanding of database languages and manipulation with T-SQL/ PL-SQL Desired but not essential: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification is highly regarded Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud is highly regarded Experience with SFMC Personalisation (Interaction studio) is desirable Your life at MECCA Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
