Make it your story.This position reports toService Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Process Automation Energy Industries Division and its customers throughout the automation and digital solution proposals with respect to technical and commercial aspects.
Each day, you will serve as a key sales support resource in the assigned area.
You will also showcase your expertise by determining the costs, design and preparing proposal documentation.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division in Melbourne.
You will be mainly accountable for:Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective digital solutions and in the preparation of quality offers.Conducting reviews with local teams like engineering, operations, supply chain, technical authority, product team ensuring required details into the proposal.Offering technical advice and providing comments on inquiry specifications to customers, supporting sales and pre-sales teams with technical design, risk review, and techno-commercial reviews.Providing digital solution technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations, and negotiations.Qualifications for the roleEngineering degree with extensive experience in automation, electrical and digital solution sales at the enterprise level and large project pursuit experience.Experience in internal or external consulting engagements with industrial automation and/or IoT (Internet of Things) customers.
Knowledgeable in regulatory aspects for various domains such as information security & cloud deployments.Embraces challenges and loves working with multi-faceted teams like sales, pre-sales, finance, engineering, and project management for effective proposal offers.Able to articulate a vision for customer's digital journey based on knowledge of customers' business and ABB offerings.More about usABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
