Due to ongoing growth we are looking to employ a Sales BD/ Account Manager to grow our Business in Gladstone, Queensland. We are seeking an outstanding achiever to join our Team of A players and continue to foster and grow our business & brand whilst promoting your personal brand. This role will commence in February 2025 due to the relocation of our Current Account Manager to another Harness site.

As our new Sales BD/ Account Manager in Gladstone, you will manage your portfolio of Tier 1 and 2 clients passionately and forge strong relationships with our clients through your deep care approach to providing solutions to their requests and queries.

Your responsibilities:
Support Clients with Quotes, Proposals, and Sales Assistance Prioritize key tasks and deadlines whilst keeping internal stakeholders updated. Build an open, honest, and trusting relationship with our clients and internal business units. Manage your internal operations expectations by ensuring they are always kept in the loop in terms of work in progress, recognising issues early, and pre-empting them. Ensure client requirements are always met within expectation and timely updates clearly communicated Professionally assist with inbound calls and qualifying leads Accurate and timely data entry into various systems used by the organisation e.g. Sales Pipeline, Customer Relationship Management System etc. Maintain reporting to Senior Leaders and Board Manage Travel expectation Attend Networking Events Maintain Tier 1 Client relationships Develop new business Maintain an understanding of educational funding and frameworks Develop and submit tenders Work with Industry on Training and People needs Mentor & Advise Junior sales on S&M opportunities Skills and experience required:
A self-starter who is passionate to work in a busy environment Experience in service or solution selling Previous experience in a KPI or budget-driven environment Experience in stakeholder management Passionate about bringing opportunities to their local community Professional and confident phone manner Exceptional attention to detail whilst multi-tasking Positive and vibrant personality with a Can-Do mindset Self-motivated and keen to learn Proven working capability with Microsoft office suite packages. Exposure to a corporate environment with a sound understanding of policies, procedures, and safety-first culture Responsible and mature minded Experience working autonomously Well-presented and highly punctual The preferred applicant will have experience of at least 2 to 5 years in one of the following industries: GTO, RTO, Labour Hire or recruitment.
